Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday 12am-8am (40hrs/week)
Compensation: $21/hour
About Us:
Family Promise of Tualatin Valley’s (FPTV’s) mission is to equip vulnerable families and individuals to end the cycle of homelessness through a community-based response. We offer short-term emergency shelter, food support, case management, and housing navigation services. We intervene to prevent households from becoming homeless and support program graduates through extended stabilization services. We offer equitable, compassionate service to all who reach out for assistance.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Listen and communicate information to guests or other staff members
- To provide a safe, healthy, clean, and attractive shelter home environment
- Assist with security of property after hours and ensuring safety of residents
- Procure needed items for guests within guidelines, placing orders as appropriate with office manager
- Administrative tasks, including updating casenotes on guests
- Assist with food preparation and delivery within building as needed.
- Respond to urgent requests for assistance from households as needed.
- Assist with room flips / cleaning
- Assist household with moving or leaving shelter when needed.
- Help & participate with volunteers running programs or events at facility
- Share in operational tasks of FPTV program, i.e., opening and closing offices, cleaning, telephone coverage, etc.
- Provide trauma informed services using best practice de escalation techniques
- Complete FPTV and community trainings as required

Education/Experience/Skills
- 2+ years experience in similar position, such as direct care, resident assistant, front desk work, etc
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds and move around a large building with some tight spaces
- Proficient in Google Docs and Microsoft computer applications
- Must be 18 or older, with reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug test upon hire

Candidates with existing CPR/First Aid / Narcam certification is a plus. If you not, we will provide the training
