Description

The Case Management Assistant role exists to generate revenue while supporting clinical work, but only if every billable minute is properly documented and coded. The Assistant is not just a helper; they are a revenue generator whose work directly funds the organization. Success is measured in billable hours logged, claims submitted, and revenue collected—not just tasks completed.

Qualifications & Skills

 Required:

·      High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s preferred)

·      Strong attention to detail and time‑tracking accuracy (15‑minute increments)

·      Basic understanding of Medicaid‑funded services or willingness to learn

·      Strong communication and organizational skills

·      Comfort working in a structured, metrics‑driven environment with daily expectations

·      Ability to follow supervision, use checklists, and adhere to compliance protocols

·      Ability to work with diverse populations and follow supervision

 

Preferred:

·      Experience in behavioral health, social services, non-profit, or healthcare support, particularly in Lake County.

·      Familiarity with Medicaid billing or time‑logging practices

·      Strong documentation skills and comfort using EHR systems

·      Ability to coordinate resources, make collateral contacts, and support case management tasks

·      Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to follow structured workflows

·      Experience working with diverse populations and community agencies
