OVERVIEW Tended is looking for an owner-operator, not an executive hire. The Managing Director runs the agency: full ownership of the P&L, the client roster, the bartender roster and training standard, and the hospitality quality bar across every event and account. Compensation is structured as a true partner: a commission-to-salary glide on the agency's gross profit that converts to guaranteed base salary as the business scales, plus a meaningful equity stake in Tended.

ABOUT TENDED Tended is Fallow Collective's bartending and hospitality-staffing agency for beverage alcohol and hospitality-adjacent brands. When a brand or venue books Tended, it gets bartenders who don't just pour, they host: trained, certified, and genuinely hospitable professionals who make every event, activation, and account feel considered. Every Tended bartender is trained to a consistent service and compliance standard, so brands get credible, polished representation wherever they pour. It's hospitality that builds loyalty, not just service that fills a shift. The result is in-market experience that people remember, helping purpose-driven brands grow through bartenders who carry the brand with warmth and intention. We bring the hospitality.

THE OPPORTUNITY Where most staffing agencies sell shifts, Tended sells hospitality. You will build the client roster, own the bartender roster and training standard, lead the scheduling and deployment of the team, hold the operating cadence, and own the agency's revenue, margin, and growth trajectory, with built-in demand flowing from sister Collective agencies in events and activation. Every event staffed and every client signed grows your earnings and your equity value. You will not build alone. The full operating infrastructure of Fallow Collective is in place: payroll, contracts, CRM, finance, marketing support, and sister entities in events, ambassador activation, and commercial sales feeding the pipeline.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for an owner-operator: a senior hospitality, beverage, or event-staffing leader who wants to run a business, not hold a title. The ideal Managing Director has:

• Ten or more years of leadership in bartending, catering, events, or hospitality operations, including meaningful time selling and owning a P&L
• A track record of building or scaling a staffing, catering, or event operation
• Credibility in beverage alcohol and hospitality, with fluency in the compliance realities of alcohol service and event staffing
• Conviction about genuine hospitality as a differentiator, and the standards discipline to maintain it at scale
• Entrepreneurial conviction: comfortable with compensation weighted toward commission tied to the gross profit of the whole agency, converting to salary as it scales, with equity as the long-term upside

COMPENSATION Full-Time W2, structured as a true partner: a commission-to-salary glide plus a meaningful equity stake in Tended. Because Tended is a pre-revenue entity, the Managing Director begins commission-only and converts to guaranteed base salary as the business scales. Compensation is set by the agency's trailing-twelve-month gross profit (revenue collected, less the direct costs of delivery such as staffing and vendor pass-throughs, cost of goods, direct labor, and materials), evaluated at each quarter-end close. Base salary ratchets up only and never decreases. Total cash compensation is capped at $250,000; beyond the cap, the upside of growth accrues through your equity stake. Benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance with 75 percent of premium covered; a 401(k) with a 3.5 percent company match after one year of service; three weeks of paid vacation; seven recognized holidays plus year-end company closure; and business expenses.
