ABOUT TENDED

Tended is Fallow Collective's bartending and brand-cocktail venture. The beverage alcohol brands we work with rely on Tended's trained bartenders to bring their products to life at trade shows, brand activations, and industry events. Tended works brand events only (no private events, weddings, etc)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're building the Tended Bar Crew - our national roster of bartenders, market by market. This is ongoing, gig-style work: once you're onboarded, you join the Bar Crew in your market and get called on for shifts as they come up - trade shows, brand launches, industry conferences, and activations. You sign up for the jobs that fit your availability.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and serve brand-specified cocktails and pours at trade shows, activations, and industry events
• Represent client brands with polish, product knowledge, and hospitality
• Follow brand recipes/programming and Tended's service standards
• Set up, stock, and break down bar stations
• Check ID and follow all state and local alcohol service regulations
• Bring Fallow Collective's values to every shift: Hospitality First, Say What's True, Lead with Empathy, Stay Curious, Rooted Together

WHO YOU ARE

• Experienced bartender with strong classic and modern cocktail knowledge
• 21 or older, and holds (or can obtain) any bartending/alcohol service license your state requires
• Comfortable with brand/trade event work rather than a tipped bar shift - this is flat-rate, non-tipped pay
• Polished and professional - comfortable representing a brand in front of trade buyers, media, and consumers
• Flexible schedule; able to travel locally to event venues
• Prior brand ambassador or promotional experience is a plus, not required

PAY & CLASSIFICATION

Pay range: $35.00–$40.25/hour, flat rate and non-tipped, depending on market (Ohio Tier 1 base $35.00/hour, tiered up to $40.25/hour at Tier 4)

Classification: 1099 independent contractor (not a W-2 employee)

Schedule: No fixed hours - roster-style, sign up for available shifts

CERTIFICATIONS & ONBOARDING

• Responsible alcohol service certification (e.g., ServSafe Alcohol or your state's equivalent) required before your first shift
• Proof of insurance (certificate of insurance naming Fallow Collective as additional insured) required before working
• Completed contractor paperwork: W-9, contractor agreement, standards acknowledgment, certifications, and availability profile
• Complete Fallow Certification program on Brand Categories and Brand Partners
