Our company is growing, and so is the need for a dedicated security focused System Administrator. You'll work closely with our Founder and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), advancing your career as we grow. We are looking for someone who is comfortable playing every position, with the ability to build out a DevOps engineering approach to system administration while at the same time providing best in class service to support the success of our customers. Description

In this Systems Administrator role you will: 

  • Streamline system administration through automation, enhancing efficiency and dependability.
  • Establish and uphold strong security protocols across Windows and Mac environments, safeguarding company assets and customer data.
  • Create and build processes while mentoring junior team members.
  • Supervise the management of Google Workspace and O365, guaranteeing smooth integration and peak performance across all platforms.
  • Oversee corporate network operations, including firewalls, routers, switches, etc., to uphold stability, security, and optimal performance.
  • Deliver top-tier service to ensure customer success, utilizing hands-on problem-solving and proactive solutions, and occasionally conducting onsite client work to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Remotely manage and monitor devices (using RMM and MDM solutions), ensuring that they are secure and available for customers  


Qualifications: 

  • 5-7+ years of professional IT experience
  • Ability to plan and execute swiftly and independently while anticipating proactive solutions to possible challenges 
  • Security focused while implementing IT that enables the success of the business
  • Experience managing Windows and Mac environments
  • RMM and/or MDM experience (Addigy preferred)
  • Administered Google Workspace and O365
  • Managed corporate networks with firewalls, routers, switches, etc.
  • Problem solver with a go-getter attitude and ability to execute


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience at a Managed Service Provider (MSP) 
  • DevSecOps Engineering approach to managing IT Administration and implementation of automation 
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate challenging and varied situations 
  • Customer Centric, with experience in a customer-facing role and a strong focus on customer success
  • Comfort with Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for onsite client work (less than 10%)
