As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our team and hiring a new Project Coordinator.

The Role

We seek an entry-level to mid-level Project Coordinator to join our project management team. This is an opportunity to collaborate with a passionate, fun, and purpose driven group. Our goal is to improve the world around us through smart manufacturing and progressive building solutions that are earth and family friendly. Our work is nationally recognized for its quality, customer service, innovation, and industry leadership.

Clients include architects, home builders, developers, and contractors. The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of experience and be comfortable managing multiple projects, documents, deadlines, and communications. The position directly supports our drafting, engineering, and sales teams.

A degree in project management, engineering, drafting, architecture, or construction management is helpful but not required. Construction knowledge, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are highly valued.

This position is on-site in Cottonwood, MN, with little to no travel required.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare project files for the drafting process
• Track projects through drafting, engineering, and production stages
• Organize and coordinate special materials
• Calculate takeoffs for special or miscellaneous materials
• Communicate with customers to obtain project approval for production
• Maintain organized files, folders, and documentation for multiple concurrent projects
• Assist draftsmen, engineering, and sales teams with project coordination
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders on short-term and multi-week projects
• Manage multiple projects independently within time-sensitive deadlines

Recommended Skills & Qualifications

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Ability to read construction documents and blueprints
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects at various stages
• Experience in construction management
• AutoCAD experience (a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and conscientiousness
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience

• Construction experience: 1+ years preferred
• 1–5 years project coordination or related experience
• Degree or background in project management, engineering, construction, drafting, or architecture (preferred but not required)
