As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our team and hiring a new Drafter.

The Role

We seek an experienced Drafter with strong CAD skills and a background in architectural drawings and construction. This full-time, on site position works within our drafting and project management team to develop project specific SIP shop drawing and create sophisticated panel plans for a variety of building types. Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create detailed construction documents and SIP plans
• Verify that client designs meet performance and structural requirements
• Review CAD models and drawings for completeness and accuracy
• Analyze project information to determine the most effective panel layout
• Communicate technical building and panel information clearly (verbally and in writing) with clients, project managers, engineers and team members
• Maintain organized project files and documentation
• Manage multiple projects independently in a time-sensitive environment
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and conscientiousness with drawings and paperwork

Recommended Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Degree and/or experience in construction/building science, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred
• 1 + year of drafting and/or AutoCAD experience preferred
• Strong math aptitude and understanding of structural/architectural concepts

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD (required)
• Revit or similar construction/drafting software
• HSB software experience is a strong plus
