Job title: Senior Acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Job location: Remote, no travel
Weekly hours and duration: Up to 34 hours per week. Requires flexibility for an initial ramp-up period (approx. 50 hours), as well as accommodating standing training sessions at 9 am and 2 pm EDT (two sessions per day) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and occasional meetings with policy leadership.
Clearance: Security Clearance Required (Level TBD / Minimum Public Trust; active clearance highly preferred)
Contract length: Approx. 1.5 years (with the potential of extending)

Role overview
Cynuria is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead GSA’s ongoing Integrated Management of Policy and Collaborative Training (IMPACT) sessions.
This flagship training series was established in 2025 and is designed to bridge the gap between GSA’s Office of Government-wide Policy (OGP) procedures and their practical application within the GSA acquisition workforce. These live, highly interactive sessions aim to equip workforce members with the knowledge and tools necessary to excel in their roles and contribute to a high-performing acquisition environment.
The Senior Acquisition SME tracks policy updates and leads training delivery.
