Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Social Work Supervisee to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a professional in the early stages of their career who is looking to gain hands-on experience and supervision hours required for licensure. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to client care, a willingness to learn, and a passion for social work.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual counseling to clients under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW).
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
• Participate in regular supervision meetings to discuss cases, receive feedback, and develop clinical skills.
• Collaborate with other professionals within the practice to provide holistic care to clients.
• Stay updated on best practices and current research in the field of social work and mental health.
• Engage in community outreach and advocacy efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Eligibility to obtain clinical licensure LCSW in Virginia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and professional development.
• Experience with diverse populations and a variety of clinical issues is preferred.
