The Role

As an Armed Flex Guard, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients and their properties. Your responsibilities will include monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. You will work in various locations, adapting to the specific needs of each assignment.

What You'll Do

- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

- Respond promptly to alarms and calls for assistance, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.

- Conduct thorough inspections of premises and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.

- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients, visitors, and employees.

- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.

- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance security skills and knowledge.

What We're Looking For

- Valid armed security license and relevant certifications.

- Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles.

- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Nice to Have

- Previous experience in a flex or on-call security role.

- First Aid/CPR certification.

- Familiarity with security technology and surveillance systems.

- Bilingual skills are a plus.
