Job Summary:

The Program Director will provide administrative oversight and leadership to the outpatient mental health clinic, ensuring compliance with Maryland regulations, including COMAR 10.21.17, and excellence in clinical care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Oversight: Provide administrative oversight of the outpatient mental health clinic, ensuring compliance with Maryland regulations, including COMAR 10.21.17.

2. Clinical Supervision: Ensure a system of clinical supervision of the multidisciplinary treatment staff, promoting excellence in clinical care.

3. Continuity of Service: Ensure continuity of service if clinical staff at the OMHC site are unavailable to fulfill their responsibilities to the individuals served.

4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to the operation of the program, including COMAR 10.21.17 and other applicable laws and regulations.

5. Staff Management: Supervise and manage clinic staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.

6. Program Development: Develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of the community and comply with regulatory requirements.

7. Budgeting and Finance: Manage the clinic's budget and finances, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.

 

Requirements:

1. Licensure: Licensed mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) or master's degree in mental health, health services, or business administration.

2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health administration, with experience in outpatient mental health settings preferred.

3. Knowledge: Knowledge of Maryland regulations, including COMAR 10.21.17, and experience with accreditation standards (e.g., CARF, Joint Commission).

4. Skills: Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
