Evolution Electrical Contractors is looking for a friendly, organized Administrative Assistant to be the backbone of our Oceanside office. This full-time role supports daily operations including answering phones, dispatching technicians, scheduling, invoicing, payroll, and client communication. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Health benefits, 401(k), and PTO included. Monday–Friday, 8AM–4PM.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – FULL TIME

Evolution Electrical Contractors | Oceanside, CA

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | In-Office

WHAT YOU'LL DO


- Answer company phones promptly and professionally; take messages and schedule appointments

- Dispatch technicians for service calls

- Schedule estimates and meetings for upper management

- Monitor and respond to company email throughout the day

- Light Accounts Receivable: send invoices upon job completion and follow up on outstanding payments

- Process weekly payroll and certified payroll reporting for prevailing wage jobs when required

- Check in with current clients to identify additional service opportunities

- Research and reach out to prospective new clients and accounts

- Maintain and restock office supplies as needed

REQUIREMENTS


- Experience in a customer service role

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and general data entry

- Strong typing skills and attention to detail

- Excellent phone communication skills — comfortable speaking with all types of clients

- Organized, proactive, and self-motivated

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (A PLUS — NOT REQUIRED)


- Experience with a construction or service company CRM system

- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
