Evoke Behavioral Health is owned and operated right here in Colorado. We provide high-quality center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and educational Day Treatment services to children ages 2 - 18 diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), and co-occurring diagnoses. We provide consistent hours, on-site support from supervising BCBAs, and the ability to get to know and work closely with your colleagues. This is the perfect position for recent Psychology or Sociology graduates looking for hands-on experience in the field.

We're hiring Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians for our North Campus in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver. Our North center encompasses our Severe Behavior Treatment Program serving children ages 8-18 diagnosed with ASD, I/DD, Serious Emotional Disabilities, and co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses. This program provides comprehensive treatment to children exhibiting challenging behavior that has historically been difficult to treat and manage, including physical aggression, self-injury, problematic or inappropriate sexual behavior, property destruction, complex and disruptive verbal behavior, and a history of treatment for suicidal behavior. Many of the learners in our program have not been successful in a traditional classroom, may be at risk of or have a history of hospitalization and/or in-patient/residential treatment.



The Behavior Technician role is an integral part of our interdisciplinary team. Our treatment team includes Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Behavior Technicians, Behavior Specialists, a Licensed Social Worker, and a Special Education Team. As a part of this team, you will learn to provide evidence-based interventions to increase adaptive and functional skills and decrease challenging behavior that is interfering with that child's quality of life. Other duties of the Behavior Technician include:

  • Delivery of 1:1 ABA therapy
  • Data Collection through CentralReach
  • Utilizing de-escalation and physical management (Safety Care) as needed and without restriction
  • Responding to crisis situations
  • Ensuring the general cleanliness of the center
  • Assisting learners with ADLs/personal care as needed
  • Attending staff trainings and team meetings

  • Associate Degree or equivalent
  • Ability to go up and down stairs and from seated to standing without restriction
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to implement the entire Safety-Care curriculum without restrictions
  • Ability to pass a state and federal background check
  • Completion of TB Test and Occupational Physical
  • Letter of professional recommendation
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Current CPR and First-Aid Certification


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year of ABA experience
  • RBT Certification
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Experience working with individuals with psychiatric diagnoses
  • Experience working with school-aged children and teenagers




$18.5 - $25 per hour
