Compensation

Compensation is based on years of experience.

Range $14.60 to $17.21

UNION scheduled increases occur in the month of July and anniversary month until wage is considered Journeyperson.

 

Description

Evergreen Court is seeking a dynamic Housekeeper to brighten the day for Resident’s apartments, condos, and common areas. The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day tasks of housekeeping. Each Resident will receive a weekly 30-to-45-minute scheduled cleaning.

 

Primary duties to include:

• Thoroughly clean vacant apartments / condos making them rent ready.

  Mop kitchen and bathroom floors, wipe down hard surfaces, vacuum entire 

  apartment, clean blinds, mirrors and outside of refrigerator, collect Resident’s

  trash and discard, clean windows, and spot clean walls and carpet as needed.

• Wipe down handrails, doorknobs and elevators thoroughly.

• Maintain housekeeping cart to be properly prepared for the next shift.

• Ensure that common areas are wiped clean throughout the day. Debris is to

 be collected and removed.

 

Other Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Able to stand and walk for 80% of the day.

• Able to climb stairs.

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling equipment or carts

• Must know how to use cleaning products safely.

• Must know how to operate devices such as brooms, vacuum, washer & dryer.

• Willingness to work, communicate and interact with seniors.
