This is a flexible 1099 contract opportunity with remote and hybrid options available based on client needs.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) – Outpatient Therapist Join Evergreen Community Behavioral Health

Evergreen Community Behavioral Health is a growing outpatient behavioral health agency committed to providing high-quality, person-centered mental health services throughout North Carolina. We are looking for compassionate, motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associates (LCSWAs) who are passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Our goal is to allow clinicians to focus on providing excellent care while our administrative team manages referrals, scheduling, insurance billing, credentialing support, and operational tasks.

Responsibilities


  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments (90791)
  • Provide outpatient individual therapy services
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Coordinate care with Peer Support Specialists, medical providers, and community resources when appropriate
  • Maintain compliance with all Medicaid, insurance, and agency documentation requirements
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives

QualificationsRequired


  • Active North Carolina Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) license
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred


  • Experience providing outpatient mental health therapy
  • Experience working with Medicaid populations
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems

Compensation

Compensation ranges from $40–$50 per completed clinical session, depending on experience and qualifications.

Payment is issued after insurance reimbursement (remittance) has been received by the agency, in accordance with Evergreen Community Behavioral Health's provider compensation policy.

Salary
