Evergreen Brewery (EB) is looking for a knowledgeable, high-energy, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team in Evergreen, Colorado. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love craft beer, and take pride in delivering great service under pressure, we want to meet you.

The Role

As a Bartender at EB, you are the face of our guest experience. This is a high-volume, beer-focused bartending position where speed, efficiency, and product knowledge are key. You’ll be responsible for delivering consistently great service, maintaining strong awareness behind the bar, and creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Fast-Paced Service

Work efficiently in a high-volume environment, managing multiple orders at once while maintaining accuracy, urgency, and a positive attitude.

Craft Beer Expertise (Primary Focus)

Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our beer program, including styles, flavor profiles, and seasonal offerings. Confidently guide guests through selections and make thoughtful recommendations.

Guest Experience

Engage with guests in a genuine and approachable way. Create a fun, welcoming environment while staying attentive and in control of your bar top.

Beer & Basic Cocktail Execution

• Pour beer properly and consistently with attention to quality and presentation
• Execute a small menu of classic cocktails (vodka soda, margarita, old fashioned, etc.) with consistency and speed
• Maintain efficiency without sacrificing quality

Bar Awareness & Teamwork

Maintain full awareness of the bar, including guest needs, ticket flow, and team support. Jump in where needed to keep service moving smoothly.

Bar Operations

Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized at all times. Ensure glassware, taps, and equipment are maintained throughout service.

Compliance & Safety

Follow all alcohol service laws and company policies, including ID checks and responsible service practices.

Cash Handling & Accuracy

Accurately handle transactions and maintain a balanced drawer in a fast-paced setting.

Inventory & Support

Assist with stocking, keg changes, and general bar upkeep. Participate in events and high-volume service days.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

Bartending experience in a high-volume bar, brewery, or restaurant strongly preferred.

Beer Knowledge

Strong interest in craft beer is required; prior brewery experience is a big plus.

Speed & Efficiency

Ability to stay composed and effective under pressure while handling volume.

Service Mindset

Outgoing, confident, and able to control the bar while still creating a great guest experience.

Team Player

Willingness to support coworkers and step into any role needed during service.

Physical Stamina

Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy items (kegs, cases, etc.).

Availability

Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.

Basics

Solid math skills and attention to detail for cash handling and order accuracy.
