We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Delivery Driver to transport food, beverages, and catering equipment to event venues across NYC and surrounding areas. This role requires safe and timely deliveries, careful handling of catering supplies, and occasional assistance with event setup. Given the nature of driving in NYC, the ideal candidate must be able to think quickly, problem-solve, and adapt to traffic conditions, road closures, and unexpected challenges while maintaining a professional and customer friendly attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely load, transport, and unload food, beverages, catering equipment, and staff to and from event locations.
• Ensure all deliveries are accurate and complete according to event packing lists.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company vans.
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving.
• Communicate effectively with operations, kitchen staff, event managers, and clients to confirm deliveries.
• Problem solve and make quick decisions when faced with traffic delays, parking difficulties, or route changes.
• Assist with basic setup and breakdown of catering equipment when needed.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each shift and report any maintenance needs.
• Report any hazards or accidents as soon as possible to management.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred (catering experience a plus).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Must be willing to drive in New York City, familiarity with NYC streets, traffic patterns, and parking regulations is a plus.
• Professional and customer-friendly attitude.
• Comfortable driving a van with passengers when required.
