Position Overview:


We are seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric environment and is passionate about helping businesses find the right financial solutions. The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and converting prospects into loyal clients through effective communication and consultative selling.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential clients through outbound calls, emails, and social media platforms.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting CPA Department’s services as tailored solutions.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in Canopy or similar CRM software.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Track and manage leads through the sales funnel, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent communication.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO to align messaging and ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct virtual consultations to assess client needs and recommend appropriate services.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales metrics, pipeline status, and client feedback to the CEO.
  • Client Onboarding Support: Assist in the transition of new clients to the service team, ensuring a smooth and professional handoff.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inside sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Experience with Canopy or other CRM platforms is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with accounting or financial services is a plus.
