Job description:

We're hiring a Lead Maintenance Technician to handle the day-to-day upkeep and repair needs of our apartment community. You'll work closely with the Property Manager to ensure units and common areas are well-maintained and that resident service requests are resolved promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete resident maintenance work orders in a timely manner
• Perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Prepare vacant units for move-in, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas and building exteriors
• Be available for on-call and emergency maintenance as needed
• Communicate clearly with residents and management regarding repair status

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in apartment or residential maintenance
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• EPA 608 certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must have reliable transportation and basic hand/power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
