What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)

While specific duties vary by specialization, seniority, and client environment, the core expectations are universal:

• Data Exploration & Modeling: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover insights and build predictive models.
• Machine Learning & AI: Design, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models to solve real business problems.
• Statistical Analysis: Apply rigorous statistical methods to test hypotheses, quantify uncertainty, and validate findings.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data into action.
• Deployment & Productionization: Partner with engineering teams to move models and pipelines into production environments.
• Storytelling & Communication: Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging tools, techniques, and research in data science and AI.

Who You Are (Requirements)

• Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, analytics, or a related field preferred. All levels welcome – from mid-level to staff, principal, and lead scientists.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Python or R, and familiarity with SQL for data manipulation.
• ML Frameworks: Hands-on experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, or similar.
• Data Tools: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), data pipelines, and version control (Git).
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field preferred. Master's or PhD a plus – or equivalent practical experience.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
