Essential Speech and ABA Therapy is opening a new privately-owned franchise clinic in Katy, Texas! We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions to children ages 18 months to 7 years old on the autism spectrum. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your role will be essential in helping clients improve communication, social, and daily living skills while promoting positive behavior changes.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans as developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLS) to promote independence and self-care skills.
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
  • Assist BCBAs with assessment procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, families, and other team members.
  • Maintain clear communication lines, adhere to professional boundaries, and apply supervisory feedback effectively.
  • Provide a secure, supportive environment for patients and their families.
  • Ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of frequently used areas and materials.
  • Complete all required documentation according to company standards.

 

Training and Development:

  • If not already a Registered Behavior Technician, you will be enrolled in a 40-hour course to achieve your certification.
  • Required to complete training and obtain RBT certification within 90 days of employment.

 

Qualifications:

·     Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or in the process of obtaining) is preferred.

·     Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.

·     Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·     Ability to develop rapport with clients while demonstrating patience and empathy in challenging situations.

Salary

$15 - $19 per hour
