**Job Title:** Hospice Chaplain

**Job Type:** Part-time

**Location:** Tucson, AZ

**Salary Range:** $60 to $65 per hour

**Job Overview:**

As a Hospice Chaplain at Essence Hospice Care of Arizona, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and care teams during their end-of-life journey. You will offer guidance, comfort, and solace to individuals facing spiritual and existential questions related to death, while also providing support to caregivers throughout the entire process.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and care teams in a compassionate and empathetic manner.

- Conduct spiritual assessments and develop individualized care plans based on the needs and beliefs of each individual.

- Offer guidance and support to individuals facing end-of-life decisions and provide comfort during difficult moments.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients and families.

- Lead spiritual support groups and provide education on grief and loss to caregivers and staff members.

**Requirements:**

- Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, or related field from an accredited institution.

- Ordination or endorsement by a recognized religious or spiritual organization.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing spiritual care in a hospice or healthcare setting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
