Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mathematical models and algorithms to support various gaming systems, including game mechanics, randomness, and payout structures.
• Analyze data from player behavior and game performance to optimize game features, such as odds, RTP (Return to Player), volatility, and jackpot probabilities.
• Build and manage scenario files that simulate various game outcomes and player behaviors under different conditions. This includes creating, testing, and validating scenarios to predict game performance and to balance gameplay elements.
• Collaborate with game designers, developers, and analysts to ensure mathematical integrity and balance in all aspects of game development.
• Create and optimize simulations to predict and evaluate the performance of new gaming features and systems.
• Develop statistical models to enhance gameplay experiences and player engagement.
• Use advanced mathematical techniques, such as probability theory, statistics, and stochastic processes, to analyze game outcomes and player interactions.
• Conduct risk analysis and ensure compliance with gaming regulations and fairness standards.
• Stay up-to-date with trends in the iGaming industry, particularly mathematical approaches and innovations in game theory, randomness, and AI.
• Contribute to research and development efforts to enhance the mathematical foundation of the company’s game portfolio.
• Regularly update and refine scenario files based on new data, player feedback, and game optimizations to ensure realistic simulations and robust gameplay predictions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of probability theory, statistics, and game theory.
• Experience with algorithm development and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or Java, and ability to implement mathematical models in code.
• Knowledge of iGaming mathematics, including odds calculation, RTP, and randomness, is a plus.
• Experience in building and managing scenario files to simulate game scenarios, including understanding how to model various player behaviors and system responses.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex mathematical and analytical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to think creatively and contribute to game innovation through mathematics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the iLottery, Casino and/or iGaming industry or a similar field.
• Familiarity with Monte Carlo simulations, Markov chains, and machine learning techniques.
• Understanding of regulatory standards in the gaming industry.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Experience working with diverse, international teams.
• Located in Louisville KY is preferred, but not required
