Acupuncturist (Contract position)


As our center continues to grow, we are looking to welcome a skilled and caring licensed acupuncturist to join our team. Responsibilities:


  • Provide acupuncture treatments and herbal consultation to new and returning patients as part of an integrative care plan.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including notes, diagnostic and procedure codes in our electronic health record system in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and holistic health practices.
  • Employ and participate in marketing and outreach efforts for increasing patient acquisition and retention.
  • Follow professional standards, as well as Envision Wellness policies and procedures.


Qualifications:


  • Current, valid Acupuncture license in Arizona.
  • Current malpractice insurance
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong knowledge of acupuncture principles, techniques, and theories.
  • Experience in providing patient care in an acupuncture or holistic healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and assessing patient needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and empathize with patients.
  • Knowledge of clean needle techniques and safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of herbal medicine and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (Unified Practice) systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
  • Chinese Herbal Medicine Certification

Compensation: 

DOE (Depends on Experience), up to 32.5% of Time-of-Service Fee Collection, Insurance Co-Payment, Insurance Payment Collection

Bonus percentage based on performance
