The Role 

As an SRE / DevOps Engineer, you own the reliability, scalability, and automation of our Azure-based platform. You will build and operate the infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability that let us ship quickly and run dependably. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who treats infrastructure as code and reliability as a product. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code for the Azure platform using primarily Pulumi. 
  • Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, reliable deployments. 
  • Design and operate observability: metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, and dashboards. 
  • Define and track SLIs and SLOs; drive reliability and performance improvements. 
  • Help drive incident response and blameless postmortems; build runbooks and automation. 
  • Optimize cloud cost, scalability, and capacity. 
  • Partner with security to embed secure practices across infrastructure and pipelines. 


What Success Looks Like: 30-60-90 Days 

First 30 Days 

  • Ramp on the Azure environment, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment pipelines. 
  • Take ownership of an area such as CI/CD, observability, or a set of services. 

By 60 Days 

  • Ship improvements to pipelines or observability that increase reliability or speed. 
  • Define initial SLOs for a key service and participate in on-call. 

By 90 Days 

  • Own core reliability operations with measurable improvement in deployment or uptime metrics. 
  • Drive at least one significant automation, cost, or reliability initiative. 


Required Qualifications 

  • 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering. 
  • Strong Cloud operations experience (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also considered). 
  • Infrastructure-as-code proficiency with Pulumi, Bicep, or Terraform. 
  • CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions preferred) and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes. 
  • Observability tooling and incident response experience. 
  • Scripting in Go, Python, PowerShell, or Bash. 


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience operating data platforms or data-intensive systems. 
  • Security-minded infrastructure practices and compliance exposure (SOC 2). 
  • Cost optimization and capacity planning experience. 
  • Legal technology or enterprise SaaS background.
