As a Senior Silicon Photonics Engineer, you will work at the core of Enosemi’s technology. This will include everything from developing new silicon photonics designs, validating the silicon photonics hardware through test and creating systems using photonic building blocks. You will work side-by-side with experienced electronic and photonic engineers on leading-edge photonic products.
Description
Responsibilities
- Model and simulate complex silicon photonic devices
- Layout silicon photonic system for tapeout at our foundry partners
- Test photonic building blocks and systems to validate performance
- Document device and system designs and performance
Your skills and experience
- M.S. or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, physics or similar field
- Solid background on general optics concepts
- Experience with silicon photonics platforms and process
- Experience with photonic device design and simulation (e.g. Lumerical Mode/FDTD)
- Experience with optical test
- Programming experience necessary to drive simulation and test (preferably Python or C/C++)

Salary
$135,000 - $205,000 per year
