Temporary Part-Time Employment 

(3 Month Internship)

Responsibilities:

·      Gain latest industry insight on information resource management

·      Research and learn to build case studies on information systems used for consulting businesses, retail and IT professional services

·      Introduces students to practical work experience in data warehousing practices and technologies for solving business problems.

·      Design data warehouse to meet the business requirements and hands-on learning of the design principles through implementation

·      Gain knowledge of cloud computing principles and concepts needed to evaluate, adopt, deploy, and manage cloud environments

·      Prove theoretical database concepts in JQL, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform

·      Will survey the professional services industry on key characteristics and service models

·      Examine the impact and value proposition of different Management Information Systems software and Unified Communication tools

·      Execute online market research and competitive analysis on service providers, vendors, products and technology solutions for use in new business development campaigns

·      Model business processes and workflows in technical drawing software such as Microsoft Visio, Adobe XD, LucidCharts and Miro 

·      Attend meetings to record functional and technical requirements of development tasks with key performance indicators and measurable objectives

·      Use information management and dashboarding software such PowerBI, tableau, Microsoft Teams and Project to improve contemporary business processes, collaborate on work outcomes and develop competitive advantage

• Applicant must be a post-graduate or current student enrolled in a Bachelor's, Associate's, Master's degree program or equivalent experience in Business Management, Marketing, Accounting, Applied IT, and Data Sciences 

• Must be able to support a minimum of 10 hours a week virtual 

• Must be capable of working remotely using collaboration software like Microsoft Teams and Zoom provided by company

• 1 or more years of academic or professional experience using Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

• Confident in public speaking and giving rehearsed presentations on domains of study

• Academic experience in building new business database applications for decision support using software or tools similar to PowerApps, Modern Excel and PowerBI 

• Experience in strong research, persuasive writing, and reporting skills

• Fundamental understanding of Information Technology hardware, software, and network administration

• Academic experience in topics of systems analysis, planning, feasibility analysis, requirements analysis, economics, systems design and project management. 

• Preferred to have a minimum G.P.A of 3.0 

• Preferred to have concentration or major in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Management Engineering, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Business Management

• Must understand basic relational concepts in preparation to learn how to design, implement and query relationship databases with a focus on business requirements

• Preferred experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform and Atlassian Jira

• Preferred experience with PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript Proficient teleconferencing, remote-work, and unified communication tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, DialPad and WebEx

• Familiarity with teleconferencing equipment 

• Ability to work virtually and remotely while collaborating (e.g. Email, Chat Apps, Video Chat) 

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 

• Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics 

• Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
