Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Controller to join our leadership team in Fairfax, VA. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial expertise across multiple industries and a proven track record of implementing strategic financial controls and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full-cycle month-end close process and financial reporting
• Develop and manage complex budgets and forecasting models
• Drive financial analysis and provide strategic insights to executive leadership
• Oversee internal controls and audit processes
• Manage reconciliations and intercompany transactions
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes
• Partner with department heads on cost control measures
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• MBA, BBA, or Associate's degree in Accounting
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing, aerospace, healthcare, or defense industries
• Strong technical accounting skills and deep understanding of GAAP
• Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems and financial modeling
• Track record of managing budgets of $200M+
• Experience with cost accounting and pricing analysis
• Excellence in stakeholder communication and executive presentations
