Engine Global Technics is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage the Quality Department of our FAA Part 145 Repair Station. The successful candidate will oversee regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inspection activities, continuous improvement, internal audits, and FAA interactions while ensuring the highest standards of safety and airworthiness.

(EGT) is an FAA Part 145 Repair Station specializing in aircraft engine maintenance, inspection, repair, overhaul, and technical support for commercial and business aviation. We are building a modern engine Repair and OH Facility focused on quality, safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

Description

Responsibilities 

  • Manage the FAA Part 145 Quality System.  
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company manuals.  
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Control Manual (QCM) and Repair Station Manual (RSM).  
  • Oversee inspection staff and quality inspectors.  
  • Coordinate FAA surveillance and audits.  
  • Lead customer and third-party audits.  
  • Review and approve corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).  
  • Monitor quality metrics and reliability data.  
  • Develop quality procedures and inspection standards.  
  • Support capability expansion projects and certification activities.  
  • Ensure personnel training and qualification requirements are maintained.  
  • Promote continuous improvement throughout the organization.  
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and the Accountable Manager.   

 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 7 years of aircraft or engines maintenance industry experience.  
  • Minimum 3 years in a Lead Mechanic, Inspector, Chief Inspector or Quality Manager positions.    
  • Extensive knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations.  
  • Experience working with FAA inspectors.  
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.  
  • Experience developing repair station procedures and quality systems.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

 

Preferred Experience 

  • FAA A&P Certificate or Repairman Certificate is preferred. 
  • GE CF34-3 and CFM56-7 experience is preferred 
  • Engines repair and overhaul experience is preferred
