Due to continued growth, we currently have an opening for an experienced Petroleum & Car Wash Service Technician (tech level 2 or 3). The Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and service of automotive, electronic, hydraulic and/or mechanical petroleum equipment and products (i.e., Wayne, Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Verifone, Passport, FFS, EVO) as applicable. We provide service trucks for our technicians to start their day from home and cover travel expenses. Candidates must be self-starters who can operate independently.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots, performs repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
• Monitors and is accountable for accuracy of parts inventory on service truck including, but not limited to, transfers of parts to appropriate jobs and other service techs as applicable as well as returns to warehouse facilities.
• Analyzes electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
• Installs, programs and tests new equipment
• Communicate with customers and explain technical issues to non-technical people.
• Present yourself professionally as a representative of EnergiSystems and be prompt when making service calls.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic equipment, PLC’s, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment with direct supervision or technical expertise from Lead Technicians
• Perform diagnostic analysis on state-of-the-art automated vehicle wash equipment
• Perform periodic scheduled maintenance of vehicle wash equipment
• Repair and correct malfunctions as necessary
• Assess customer chemical solutions and accurately measure application of wash chemistry.
• Modify or implement updates on equipment as required
• Prepare detailed service invoices for customers through Tablet or PC, via web-based software
• Maintain tools, test equipment and materials in a professional manner
• Accurately interpret information from others
• Assures appropriate flow of information and reports matters clearly, concisely and accurately
• Counsels customers relating to use, operation and maintenance of equipment
• Actively participate in the problem-solving process regarding customer complaints
• Interface with customers and appropriate related company personnel to ensure effective communication and dissemination of information required in establishing superior customer service
• Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
• Assist in the installation of new vehicle wash equipment as necessary
• Perform weekend work on an on-call rotational basis

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in service station/fueling equipment repair.
• <OR> Minimum 3^rd yr. Electrical Apprentice or Journeyman – willing to learn Fuel industry
• Certification in Wayne or Gilbarco preferred. Additional certifications in Franklin Fueling Systems, Veeder-Root, EVO, Verifone or Fuelmaster a plus.
• Electrical knowledge and excellent mechanical abilities.
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment and machines as described.
• High school education or GED
• Ability to travel with regular overnights expected – always home on weekends.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
