Due to continued growth, we currently have an opening for a Car Wash Field Service Technician For the Central/East Montana (Billings) service area.

The Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and service of a variety of Car Wash Equipment Manufacturer Equipment lines. The Field Service Technician will interact with customers daily regarding their Car Wash equipment, providing excellent customer service, accurately providing technical information regarding service or repairs, and building and maintaining professional relationships. We provide service trucks for our technicians to start their day from home and cover travel expenses. Candidates must be self-starters who can operate independently.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic equipment, PLC’s, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment with direct supervision or technical expertise from Lead Technicians
• Perform diagnostic analysis on state-of-the-art automated vehicle wash equipment
• Perform periodic scheduled maintenance of vehicle wash equipment
• Repair and correct malfunctions as necessary
• Assess customer chemical solutions and accurately measure application of wash chemistry.
• Modify or implement updates on equipment as required
• Prepare detailed service invoices for customers through Tablet or PC, via web-based software
• Maintain tools, test equipment and materials in a professional manner
• Accurately interpret information from others
• Assures appropriate flow of information and reports matters clearly, concisely and accurately
• Counsels customers relating to use, operation and maintenance of equipment
• Actively participate in the problem-solving process regarding customer complaints
• Interface with customers and appropriate related company personnel to ensure effective communication and dissemination of information required in establishing superior customer service
• Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
• Assist in the installation of new vehicle wash equipment as necessary
• Maintain an accurate inventory of parts on company-provided vehicle
• Perform weekend work on an on-call rotational basis
• May travel to customer sites throughout the Montana/North Dakota/Wyoming

Minimum Qualifications:

• Preferred experience in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Pneumatic systems, Hydraulic systems
• 1-3 years of Vehicle wash Experience (or equivalent relevant experience)
• Electrical knowledge and mechanical abilities/aptitude.
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment and machines as described.
• High school education or GED
• Operation of computers and software and familiarity with Mobile devices.
• Ability to travel with regular overnights expected – always home on weekends.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work on-call shifts for additional compensation
