Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to join our team. The Service Manager will oversee all aspects of the service department, ensuring efficient and effective equipment repairs and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a customer-centric approach to service delivery.


  • Lead and manage the service department, including technicians and support staff.
  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize equipment repairs and maintenance tasks to meet customer needs and deadlines.
  • Monitor service operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize service department performance, productivity, and profitability.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to technicians, troubleshooting complex equipment issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, inventory, and customer communications.
  • Collaborate with sales and rental teams to support equipment sales and rental operations, providing technical expertise and customer support as required.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professional development, and employee engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience in equipment service and repair in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction, agricultural, forestry, or industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality service and achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including MS Office and service management systems.
