Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Equipment Sales Representative to join our team. The Equipment Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and nurturing customer relationships to drive equipment sales and rentals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.


Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new leads and opportunities to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored equipment solutions and support.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations to educate customers on equipment features, benefits, and applications.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including service, parts, and rental departments, to ensure seamless customer experiences and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate accurate sales reports and forecasts.
  • Attend industry trade shows, events, and networking opportunities to promote the company's products and services and build brand awareness.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service excellence in all interactions with customers and stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Outside sales experience in the equipment or related industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and prospects.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for sales and customer success, coupled with a proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software, with the ability to effectively utilize technology for sales prospecting, tracking, and reporting.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
