We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as EIDBI Behavior Therapists - Level 1 & Level 2 Providers in Minneapolis, MN. As part of our Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) program, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention strategies based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention strategies based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to address target behaviors and skill deficits
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community settings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, caregivers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals, to ensure coordinated care
- Provide training and support to parents and caregivers on implementing behavior management techniques and promoting skill development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions, interventions, and progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field (for Level 2 Provider)
- Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or related field (for Level 1 Provider)
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
