Direct Report: Director of Operations 

Part-Time/Hourly Employee - up to 30 hours a week

I. Purpose of the Job:

To serve the vision of Highpoint Church in maintaining the facilities by representing respect and care in all aspects of the building's daily operations. 

II. Experience and Knowledge Required:

• Desire to grow and learn the operation of building maintenance.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Projects a professional and confident image, able to handle a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Email. Must be willing to learn new programs as needed.
• Must be energetic and able to handle the physical requirements of the job.
• Experience with basic maintenance desired.

III. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Manage facility's cleanliness, facilities & HVAC calendar, and set up/tear down for events.
• Maintenance & Repair: including grounds care in summer & winter, working with lawn vendor, inspection & evaluation of equipment with repairs completed when necessary.
• Purchasing & Stocking supplies for janitorial & building maintenance.
• Cleaning building as needed, working with outside cleaning vendor.
• Scheduling, preparing and attending all yearly inspections required for building.
• Attend to building emergencies as needed.
• Locking & Unlocking the building as schedule requires.
• Other duties are assigned as needed by the Director of Operations.
