Position Summary:

Reports To: VP, Agency Production. As a Performance Creative Director at Emplicit, you will be a key driver in shaping our Clients’ identity and positioning in the market. You will oversee the entire creative process, from concept to execution, and provide strategic leadership to our talented creative team. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our creative output aligns with our Company's mission and objectives.

Position Responsibilities

Creative Visionary:

  • Develop and articulate the company's creative vision, ensuring alignment with our clients’ values and business goals.
  • Lead and inspire the creative team to consistently produce innovative and compelling design concepts and campaigns.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing creative team, fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
  • Set clear creative direction and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.

Strategic Partner:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, account management, and copy, to integrate creative solutions that enhance our brand's impact and support overall business objectives.
  • Play a critical role in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans.

Data-Driven Optimization:

  • Leverage data and analytics to evaluate creative performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns and design strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and consumer insights to inform creative direction.

Trendsetter:

  • Stay at the forefront of design and marketing trends, keeping our creative output fresh, engaging, and reflective of the latest industry standards.
  • Push the boundaries of creativity to set industry benchmarks and maintain our competitive edge.

Resource Optimization:

  • Manage creative budgets and resources effectively, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and workflow efficiency.


Experience

  • 5+ Years’ relevant experience responsible for producing visual content in a digital agency setting.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (or other related graphic design software), Google Suite applications, and digital proofing software.
  • Proven experience in a creative leadership role, ideally in e-commerce.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing innovative and impactful design and marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with creative software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making and the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, graphic arts, advertising, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.


Personal Traits

  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task and perform under pressure and deadlines a must. 
  • Must be articulate and possess excellent presentation and communication skills, comfortable presenting to and influencing C-Suite executives.

Other

  • As Emplicit is a “virtual company”, this is a work-from-home position. Ability and willingness to travel to Client locations and certain industry/trade shows and events as necessary.

Salary

$90,000 - $130,000 per year
