Competitive Gymnastics Team Coach

Qualifications:

• Previous experience coaching competitive gymnastics at a club or school level.
• Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate athletes of all ages and skill levels.
• Current USAG certification preferred
• SafeSport Certified.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Passion for gymnastics and a commitment to athlete development and success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement training programs for competitive gymnasts, focusing on skill development, strength, flexibility, and overall performance.
• Provide instruction and coaching to gymnasts during practices and competitions, ensuring adherence to safety standards and promoting proper technique.
• Create individualized training plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each gymnast.
• Monitor and assess the progress of gymnasts, providing feedback and making necessary adjustments to training plans.
• Foster a positive and motivating environment that encourages athletes to strive for excellence.
• Maintain open and effective communication with gymnasts, parents, and other coaching staff.
• Stay current with the latest developments in gymnastics coaching techniques, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to the overall success of the gymnastics program by assisting with other duties as needed.
