We are looking for an experienced, skilled bookkeeper to join our team. This Bookkeeper position would be best suited for organized and self-driven accounting professionals that are seeking a role with a deadline-driven environment and minimal supervision. Our ideal candidate is familiar with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, XERO, and Sage Intacct.

Description
This position is approximately 90% remote with on-site training and some in-person meetings. Local Albuquerque resident preferred.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency MS Office and Excel
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Maintain journal entries and general ledger reconciliation
- Review financial transactions for accuracy
- Reconcile bank and other accounts
- Complete required tax forms
- Make deposits and record all cash receipts
- Process payroll
- Oversee month-end closing
Salary
$18 - $25 per hour
