Position Summary

El Pollo Rico is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and team-oriented Restaurant Staff Members to join our growing crew. In this role, you will be an essential part of our daily restaurant operations, delivering warm customer service, supporting food preparation, and helping maintain a clean, organized environment. Whether working front-of-house customer service or back-of-house support, your effort directly contributes to providing an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take accurate menu orders, process payment transactions, and handle guest inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Food Preparation & Assembly: Assist in preparing high-quality menu items, assembling orders according to recipe standards, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
• Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintain clean work stations, sanitize guest dining tables, restock supply areas, and strictly follow food safety guidelines.
• Operational Support: Assist with inventory restocking, trash removal, and shift opening/closing duties as directed by management.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with fellow team members and management to ensure smooth, efficient restaurant service during peak hours.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous restaurant, food service, or retail experience is preferred, but not required (on-the-job training provided).
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds during assigned shifts.
• Ability to speak basic English and Spanish is preferred.
