About The Role

An Intermediate Irrigation Repair Technician has a solid understanding of irrigation systems and can perform more complex repairs and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision. This role involves troubleshooting, system adjustments, support, and selling repair services to homeowners.

Key Responsibilities:

• All Level 1 skills and requirements.
• Perform PVC repairs up to 2.5”.
• Basic understanding of well systems, sand management, volume of flow, valve tuning, pressure regulation, and distribution uniformity.
• Proficient in valve location and ground fault location.
• Understand Wi-Fi connection controller setup, basic network diagnostic (2.4 or 5 GHz), firewalls, repeaters, and troubleshooting.
• Flow meter setup.
• Understand distribution uniformity, application rates, and capillary action.
• Provide guidance and support to Level 1 Technicians.
• Identify and communicate repair needs to homeowners, assisting in the sales of repair services.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
• Keep up if parts stock in your van/trailer

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in irrigation repair (or management waived).
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic sales skills and the ability to communicate effectively with homeowners.
• Valid driver's license.
• Working phone.
• Irrigator License.
