- Draft correspondence, create presentations, agendas, reports, and materials for board meetings, investor updates, regulatory interactions, and internal leadership sessions.

- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion (including IP, clinical, regulatory, and strategic matters).

- Act as a liaison with the board, senior team, external partners, and stakeholders; screen communications and prioritize incoming requests.

- Support special projects, track priorities or key initiatives, assist with office operations, vendor coordination, and limited hiring/onboarding activities as the company grows.

- Anticipate needs, conduct research, resolve scheduling conflicts, and proactively solve problems to maximize executive efficiency in a dynamic startup setting.

- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, emotional intelligence, and sound judgment.

- Demonstrated ability to handle ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and thrive in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.

- Proactive “chief of staff lite” mindset with strong business acumen; previous exposure to board/investor support, project coordination, or regulatory environments is a plus.

- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and based in or willing to work in the Charleston, SC area.
