Description

The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of retail purchase orders (POs), managing distributor and buyer relationships, coordinating logistics, and ensuring operational efficiency. The role also encompasses proactive communication of shorts and lates, deduction handling, data analytics, and accurate documentation. This position acts as the operational hub between commercial, supply chain, logistics, and retail partners to ensure timely, compliant, and profitable delivery of products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of retail purchase orders from receipt to delivery
  • Communicate with distributors and buyers to manage relationships and ensure on-time fulfillment
  • Track and report out-of-stock items and late deliveries; work cross-functionally to find solutions
  • Investigate, dispute, and prevent retailer deductions
  • Schedule and manage carrier logistics to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance
  • Analyze operational data and build reports to support performance improvements
  • Ensure accurate documentation and digital filing for audit readiness


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, supply chain coordination, or logistics
  • Strong knowledge of PO management, logistics scheduling, and deduction handling
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and BI tools

$55,000 - $60,000 per year
