We are seeking a high-caliber, clinically precise Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary student support team.

In this role, you will move away from traditional, isolated therapy lines to execute a fully integrated, push-in educational experience. 

You will serve as a foundational communication link for high-acuity learners exhibiting diverse neurodivergent, behavioral, or low-incidence disability profiles (including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, and Deaf and Hard of Hearing mandates).

Your ultimate target is to remove the linguistic and pragmatic barriers that cause academic stalling, giving every student a functional voice to confidently direct their own life.

Core Responsibilities

Integrated Therapy Milieu - Deliver speech and language related services directly within the natural classroom routine using an embedded push-in model to maximize immediate skill generalization.

Functional Communication Training (FCT) - Design and execute high-fidelity FCT interventions to systematically replace challenging, non-verbal behavioral outbursts with pro-social words, manual signs, or symbolic icons.

Advanced AAC Scaffolding - Oversee the cross-environment integration of high-tech speech-generating devices (such as iPads loaded with Proloquo2Go or TouchChat) alongside low-tech picture exchange systems (PECS) and core board frameworks.

Social Pragmatics Mastery - Partner with school social workers to lead targeted Tier 2 small-group social skills sessions, focusing on conversational turn-taking, decoding non-verbal cues, perspective-taking, and conflict resolution.

For Low-Incidence Specialty Care - Deliver customized aural rehabilitation, cued speech prompts, listening and spoken language instruction, or Conceptually Accurate Signed English (CASE/CSE) for students assigned to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) specialized wings.

Clinical Synergy Rounds - Participate in mandatory weekly clinical rounds with classroom teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to ensure communication milestones align cleanly with individual Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP).

Documentation and Dosage Integrity - Maintain 100% compliance with IEP service delivery grids by digitally time-stamping every therapeutic minute in EasyIEP and CentralReach platforms.

Evaluation and IEP Lifecycle Input - You will contribute formal quantitative communication assessments (e.g., CELF-5 metrics), speech summaries, and written SMART goals for Multidisciplinary Evaluations (MDE), Evaluation Reports (ER), and Re-evaluation Reports (RR).

Medicaid Revenue Recovery - You will complete precise daily encounter notes with corresponding diagnosis coding vectors to fulfill federal School-Based Access Program (SBAP) parameters, maintaining full readiness for random moment time studies (RMTS).

Position Qualifications

Must hold an active, valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs (BPOA).

Must possess an active PA Department of Education (PDE) School Specialist certification.

Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC-SLP). Additional Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS) certifications are highly preferred.

Must be able to express high-level proficiency across a wide framework of communication modalities. Advanced fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) or Conceptually Accurate Signed English (CASE) is strongly prioritized for DHH specific hub assignments.

Must have experience working within digital educational software networks, specifically showing functional proficiency inside the district's native EasyIEP tracking module.
