About edu prime llc

Edu Prime is a dedicated educational service provider specializing in evidence-based interventions designed to rapidly close academic achievement gaps for K-12 students. We partner with school districts to deliver comprehensive, data-driven acceleration programs that integrate deep content mastery with essential cognitive and non-cognitive skills.

Description

We are seeking a licensed, collaborative Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our multidisciplinary clinical matrix. Rejecting isolated, siloed therapy styles, our service line pairs clinicians directly inside the active instructional block.

Expect to work alongside special education teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to deliver embedded, high-dosage therapeutic support. Your objective is to address fine motor limitations, sensory processing barriers, and self-care needs to help high-acuity students (with Autism, Emotional Disturbance, and Multiple Disabilities) achieve functional school-based outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

Push-In Therapy Delivery - Embed fine motor development, environmental accessibility, and sensory targets directly into natural classroom routines, eliminating instructional loss.

Sensory Diet Customization - Design and apply specialized sensory diets (including the strategic use of vestibular swings, weighted lap pads, weighted tools, and tactile boundaries) to restore physiological readiness to learn.

ADL and Independence Training - Guide transition-age youth (ages 14–22) within simulated independence suites, teaching domestic self-care skills, adaptive home management, and meal prep safety.

Environmental and Furniture Engineering - Evaluate and install flexible, radius-edged, or ergonomic adaptive seating arrays tailored to minimize sensory triggers for high-acuity behavioral profiles.

Multidisciplinary Team Integration - Co-author clinical intervention maps during weekly huddles with teachers and speech-language pathologists (SLPs) to guarantee that therapeutic milestones fully generalize.

Service Tracking and EasyIEP Logging - Maintain absolute timeline fidelity by logging every provided related service minute in real-time inside district-sanctioned digital modules (EasyIEP and CentralReach).

Evaluative Reporting - Conduct school-based screenings and related service evaluations (such as the Beery VMI) to contribute formal baseline criteria to Evaluation Reports (ER) and Re-evaluation Reports (RR).

SBAP Medicaid Compliance - Formulate clear-audit session narratives featuring matching ICD-10 medical necessity coding to support federal School-Based Access Program (SBAP) reimbursement claims.

Qualifications

State Licensure - Must hold a current, active license as an Occupational Therapist issued by the Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs (BPOA).

Education Endorsement - Must hold or be eligible to secure a current PA Department of Education (PDE) School Specialist certificate.

Board Certification - Must be continuously certified through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Acuity Familiarity - Must have demonstrated experience navigating the sensory and behavioral manifestations typical of low-incidence, neurodivergent, or severely trauma-impacted student groups.

Software Proficiency - Must have functional hands-on familiarity logging within digital educational software networks, specifically showing proficiency within the district's native EasyIEP reporting portal.

Mandatory Security and Clearance Filters

Edu Prime LLC enforces a zero-variance onboarding filter. In strict accordance with Pennsylvania state law, valid hard copies of the following background screenings (less than one year old at the time of hire) must be safely cataloged into our secure vault before direct student contact is permitted:

  • Act 34 - Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Record Check
  • Act 151 - Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Act 114 - Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Check via IdentoGO utilizing the PDE system code
