We’re growing — and I’m looking for the right medical provider to grow with us. Eden Healing Oasis is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner to our team.

But I want to be clear: I’m not looking to simply fill a position. I’m willing to take my time to find the right person — someone who understands that caring for people, especially in some of the hardest seasons of their lives, is more than a job. It’s a calling.

I’m looking for someone who:

• Loves the Lord and is comfortable allowing faith and prayer to have a place in patient care when welcomed by the patient
• Believes in meeting patients exactly where they are — with compassion, curiosity, and hope
• Believes deeply in the body’s capacity for healing and in God’s ability to heal, while respecting the complexity of each patient’s medical journey
• Is open-minded, teachable, and hungry to learn
• Is a true team player — humble enough to learn, confident enough to lead, and willing to serve
• Wants to look beyond symptoms and understand the whole person
• Is willing to think differently when conventional answers aren’t enough
• Has a personality that makes patients feel seen, heard, safe, and cared for

Functional/integrative medicine experience is preferred, but it is not a requirement. I can teach our methodologies, clinical frameworks, and approach to care.

What I can’t teach is humility, character, compassion, work ethic, a servant’s heart, or a genuine love for people. This isn’t the position for someone looking to clock in, see patients, and clock out.

I’m looking for someone who wants to build something meaningful. Someone who wants to keep learning. Someone who can sit across from a patient facing an overwhelming diagnosis and bring both clinical excellence and genuine hope into the room. Someone who understands that medicine can be both deeply scientific and deeply human — and that our faith doesn’t have to disappear when we put on a white coat.

This person may eventually become an incredibly important part of the future of Eden, so I will be intentional and patient in finding them.
