Job Description
Our company is hiring an experienced Underground Utility / Pipe Foreman to lead crews installing storm, sewer, and water systems on commercial construction projects.
We are a sitework contractor performing earthwork, utilities, concrete, and paving throughout the Florida Panhandle. We are looking for a foreman who can run a crew, stay organized, and keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead a crew installing storm, sewer, and water utilities
- Read and interpret civil construction plans and elevations
- Coordinate with project manager and superintendent
- Maintain production, safety, and quality control
- Direct operators and laborers during pipe installation
- Manage daily layout, grades, and elevations
- Ensure OSHA safety practices are followed
- Keep projects on schedule
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience installing underground utilities
- 2+ years experience as a foreman or crew leader
- Ability to read civil/sitework plans
- Experience with storm, sewer, and water main installation
- Knowledge of grades, elevations, and pipe slopes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Experience
- Laser levels and grade checking
- Working with excavators installing utilities
- Commercial site development projects
- Knowledge of Florida utility standards
