We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Simulation Repair Technician with expertise in electronics, networking and advanced troubleshooting. In this role, you will travel weekly across the United States, visiting healthcare education sites to repair cutting-edge simulation technology. Your technical proficiency and problem-solving abilities will ensure seamless operation of the equipment, supporting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality training and education.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system operation.
  • Install, configure, and test healthcare simulation technology, including simulators and medical peripherals, to verify system functionality.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and sales personnel, fostering trust and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, or in person, addressing customer concerns and resolving service issues efficiently.
  • May offer System Orientation Training to clients at the repair depot or customer site, ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Utilize expertise to locate, diagnose, and correct system malfunctions, ensuring smooth operation of healthcare simulation technology.
  • Maintain accurate records by updating the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system with service activity, failure codes, and corrective actions.
  • Develop and refine FAQs based on customer feedback to improve support resources and proactive communication strategies.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as expense reports, time sheets, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Handle weekly travel logistics using company-approved resources for efficient scheduling and site visits.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive training in analog and digital electronics, with advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands-on experience in testing and repairing medical simulation products.
  • Proficiency in PC operating systems (Windows, Mac OS X) and CRM applications.
  • Strong analytical skills to locate, diagnose, and correct system malfunctions effectively.
  • Working knowledge of computer networking, ensuring smooth system integration and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with clients and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks for site access.
  • Willingness to travel on a weekly basis.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience working with pneumatic systems in a technical or repair capacity.
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as A++ or equivalent demonstrating technical expertise.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, push, or maneuver equipment weighing up to 100 pounds, including simulators.
  • Capable of operating standard office equipment efficiently as part of daily tasks.

Salary

$200 - $250 per day
