This position will be responsible for maintaining all production equipment, managing technology devices and systems, executing all live events, and managing production volunteers.

SUMMARY


Full-Time (40 hours a week) 


DIRECT REPORT 


This position reports directly to the Worship Pastor. 


GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS 


  1. A consistent, contagious, and fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ, exhibited by the fruit of the Spirit, which is “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Gal 5:22-23). Character qualities reflected in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. 
  2. A track record of serving in ministry, loyalty to pastoral leadership, and a desire to equip the saints in ministry. 
  3. Free from addictions and life-dominating sins; willing to limit one’s liberty for the sake of others, living above reproach.
  4. Demonstrated competence in doing the work of ministry. The candidate should be able to demonstrate gifting and ability as necessary for ministry leadership. 
  5. A commitment to the Church’s mission, values, statement of faith, and philosophy of ministry. 
  6. If married, a spouse who enthusiastically supports the candidate’s participation and leadership in the church.  
  7. Enthusiastic recommendation by a pastor and two other references who confirm the candidate’s potential for ministry. 
  8. The time and energy to work full-time in ministry in the flexible and at times demanding responsibilities of church work, including some nights and weekends. 
  9. Willingness to pursue church membership at Eastside Community Church.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 


  1. Prepare and execute all production requirements for Sunday and special services.
  2. Collaborate with the Worship Pastor to plan and execute Sunday and special services.
  3. Collaborate with facilities staff and communications to prepare venues for events.
  4. Manage live stream, edit, and post sermon video weekly
  5. Manage, maintain and service all production and technology equipment and systems.
  6. Expertise in utilizing current equipment and ability to stay current with new products and equipment.
  7. Provide support for all technical and production needs across the campus.
  8. Develop and codify standard operating procedures for media and production workflows.
  9. Recruit, train, and schedule production volunteers.
  10. Create and cast vision for excellence in service and execution.


SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS


  1. 3-5 years of experience managing and executing AVL systems and equipment preferred.
  2. Expertise in audio engineering and live mixing required.
  3. Working knowledge of lighting and video systems preferred.
  4. Proficiency in current media software (ProPresenter 7, RESI, Dante, Waves, QSys) and hardware (Yamaha DM7, Ross Carbonite, AJA KUMO 6464, QSys, ChamSys QuickQ 30).
  5. Proficiency in LED wall maintenance and troubleshooting.
  6. Network fluency preferred (Dante controller, DMX ethernet via Pathport gateway, QSys Core).
  7. Ability to manage campus technology equipment and learn systems preferred.
