Job Responsibilities: 

Team Leaders with a Guest Experience Focus help the Front of House Manager ensure Eastcut is meeting its goals in service experience. You will help lead all Team Members (Guest Experience focus), setting them up for success in their individual roles and establishing team cohesion. As well as taking on a hands-on approach to the daily operations you will help with ordering, training new team members, and more. This will be a great learning opportunity, as you will be working closely with the Front of House Manager to develop the skills for future growth. Below are some of the things we will expect of you:


  • Uphold & Practice the Eastcut Way by leading by example
  • Support the fostering of a fun and compassionate environment for all Team Members
  • Assist in maintaining the highest quality standards in all products and processes, ensuring guests have consistent and positive experiences
  • Manage cleaning lists to support the maintenance of the highest standards for sanitation & cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant 
  • Aid managers in inventory management, unloading, and stocking
  • Work with managers to learn and develop the skills necessary to place beverage and paper orders
  • Practice Smiling Hospitality and inspire your fellow Team Members do the same
  • Actively participate in and support training opportunities for Team Members

Job Requirements: 

  • Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of hospitality experience 
  • Current ServSafe Manager certificate is a plus – we provide training if not certified
  • Ability to learn in all aspects of operation
  • Ability to showcase Smiling Hospitality and inspire other Team Members to do the same
  • Ability to challenge yourself, ask questions, work hard, and grow
  • Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented; strive for excellence in all things
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to interact with guests on a regular basis 
  • Ability to be regularly present for scheduled shifts 
  • Ability to occasionally work in hot or cold environments for extended periods of time   
  • Must be 18 years or older (NC ABC laws for serving beer and wines)

Salary

$16.65 - $18 per hour
