Sales Coordinator | Remote | Events & AV Industry | Base + Commission
East West Audio Visual is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our growing sales team. We’re a national AV production company specializing in corporate conferences, meetings, and special events. In this role, you’ll help identify qualified business opportunities, research prospective clients and decision-makers, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide administrative support to the sales team. You’ll play an important role in keeping our sales pipeline organized and ensuring our team has a steady flow of high-quality leads. We’re looking for someone who is a strong researcher, enjoys working with data, and takes pride in keeping systems accurate and organized.
*This is a fully remote position. Team members may occasionally be invited to attend in-person meetings or events, but residence in Virginia is not required.
What You’ll Do:
- Research conferences, meetings, corporate events, associations, and government opportunities that align with our target markets
- Identify event planners, meeting managers, procurement contacts, marketing professionals, and other key decision-makers
- Build complete lead records with company information, event details, contact information, and relevant notes
- Enter and maintain accurate lead and customer information in our CRM
- Review CRM records regularly to correct missing, outdated, or inconsistent information
- Run Dedupe.ly and merge duplicate companies and contacts
- Archive inactive records and maintain an organized, reliable sales database
- Build targeted prospect lists for sales campaigns and outreach initiatives
- Research venues, event histories, associations, competitors, and prospective clients
- Support Sales Managers with CRM updates, reporting, proposal preparation, document organization, and other administrative projects
- Compile weekly sales metrics, pipeline reports, and lead-generation activity
- Assign qualified leads to the appropriate members of the sales team
- Maintain organized digital files, templates, and sales resources
- Recommend improvements to CRM organization, research processes, and sales workflows
- Assist with other sales-related responsibilities as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales support, business development, research, administrative support, or a related role
- Strong internet research skills and the ability to locate accurate company and contact information
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working with CRM systems; Pipedrive experience is preferred
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and organizing large amounts of data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Dedupe.ly, or similar tools is a plus
- Interest or experience in the meetings, events, or audiovisual industry is preferred but not required
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required; equivalent experience will be considered
